Photography Information
Have you seen the crystal images we have with our
pages? Well, we take all of our photographs from our inventory in stock
so our photos on the listings might give you a better idea of what the
colors actually look like.
We take each photo under sunlight conditions, greatly magnified, to give
you the best idea of what each color looks like before you buy
it.
Before you bid on a specific size bicone or round please reference our
photos on this page. Below you will see an example of the magnification
we use when taking each picture.
The images below are show with a USD $.10, Dime next to each size bead.
To get an idea of their size for example, notice the 3mm beads cover about
the size of the "LIB" part of Liberty on the dime.
The photos below will show the same magnification that we use for all
of our images.
Most photographs shown on each listing is a photo of a 4mm, 5mm, or 6mm
crystal to show the best combination of actual number of beads and size
to show you the great details that goes into each color.
We try to show you the most accurate photo of each color, if you have
any questions at all please contact us, we will be happy to help in any
way we can.
SPECIAL NOTE: One area we work very hard on is to represent our items as accurately as possible. We spend an enormous amount of time and money to take our photographs. Caliper Measure
NEW! We have had many customers ask us, once
they receive their order, about the size of the beads and how Austrian
crystals are measured by the manufacture.
To accuratley measure a crystal size you will need a caliper. An inexpensive
one, like the one seen in the images below, can be purchased at most craft
stores.
The caliper images below will show how the beads are measured and give
you an idea of their size. Austrian crystals are measured from the drilled
hole to hole as shown below. If you have any questions about the size of
a bead or how we show the images below please let us know.
