Thank you for your interest in our company and products. We have created this page for a detailed look at how we process our orders and the backorders along with the availability of the crystal beads we sell. If you have placed an order or are planning to place an order please keep in mind that backorder orders are shipped all at once. We hold all items until the entire order can be processed and shipped as one order. If the order you placed is for a mix of "in stock" and "out of stock" items your order will not be shipped until the entire order can be completed.
We ship all "in-stock" orders within about 24 hours of receipt of your payment unless there are backorder items included with your order. To speed up the shipping of your order you can always place an order just for your "out of stock items" if you like, and we will process the orders individually.
Below is a quick reference for the availability code of each color we carry. Please use this as a reference to when backordered items might be received. This is a general guide, not an exact science.
If the item is "in-stock" there will be no delay for that item. The codes below are just used to show availability of "out of stock" items. Please keep in mind that we are updating our entire inventory with these codes for you and not all colors will have this displayed yet. A code that reads (n) is one that hasn't been updated yet.

When placing back order items it can be helpful in the delivery time of your order if you place backorder items together by the status above. For example, if there are several items you want to place an order for that are all backorder items, place one order for (R) backorder items and another with all the others to speed up your delivery time, but that isn't nessesary.
(R) - Regular Stocked Item
This is for items that we normally stock on a regular basis but we are just sold out of temporarily. These will be orders and can usually arrive within a week or two and we try to keep them in stock as often as we can. You can order these items and most of the time it won't take very long for them to be back in stock.
(S) - Special Order Item
These are colors that take some kind of special time to arrive. It could be that they are available but they are only shipped from the Austria location by boat, which takes a few weeks. There are new colors that Swarovski® adds each season (or 2-3 times a year) like the CARIBBEAN BLUE that are "on order" or haven't arrived yet. New colors arrive as quickly as Swarovski® adds them to their production line but shipping times can be unpredictable. Ususally shipping on these items takes a few weeks.
(L) - Limited Production Items
These are colors that were produced by Swarovski® at one point or might be in the process of production but on a limited basis. Swarovski® produces many different colors with a limited run and when these are sold out there may not be more for quite a while. Some of these are rare production colors, some are not longer produced but are still available but shipping times can be several weeks to a month or more.
(O) - Out of Production Items
These are colors that are no longer being produced at present time by Swarovski® in Austria. This doesn't mean that they will not at some time start producing them again but availability of these colors is completely unpredictable and it is possible that they may not ship this color for 6 months or more if ever. If you have a question about ordering one of these color please contact us and we can check on the availability prior to placing your order.
